What is it? | What does it do? | Why should you use it? | How can you use it?

I like to find out how stuff works and communicate it in a clear, concise and complete way. Untangle complexity into small, manageable chunks that are easy to understand and to implement.

Assist end-users with reader-friendly, task-oriented documentation that is relevant to them and that helps them achieve their goals.

Encourage students to develop critical thinking and an inquisitive mind to see many points of view, different approaches and alternatives to a problem or to a proposed solution.

PROJECTS
QuizOfQuints
Apr 2015 - On Going
Learning music theory through quizzes, starting with a basic circle of quints. This is a HTML5 app, deployable on iOS, Android and Blackberry, or running straight from any modern browser. This is a long-time in the planning and finally starting to realise it, exposure to professional musicians has already provided enthusiastic and positive feedback.
JSLib JavaScript Library/Framework
Apr 2015 - On Going
JavaScript:

JSLib is a JavaScript library/framework that is used internally at Spil Games. It is modular and event-driven.

JSLib core concepts

No globals

JSLib uses sandboxing: modules are loaded in a sandbox. A sandbox creates an instance of the module that is loaded in it. In this way modules, functions, attributes, properties, and variables exist only within the private, local scope defined by the sandbox. This avoids unwanted interference with the JavaScript global scope or with other existing sandboxes in JSLib. You can load in a sandbox all the modules you want to work with, add your logic, or you can simply create an empty sandbox.

Extendable

JSLib uses modules. A module is a self-contained block of working code that performs a specific task. This makes modules reusable. Modules are independent from each other: they are loaded only when the specific functionality they provide is required. This makes JSLib extendable and scalable, depending on design requirements and specifications. It also makes it easier to maintain.

Loose coupling

Components do not need to know any definitions about other components. It is possible to subscribe to, publish, or unsubscribe from events. Publishers post messages to an intermediary message broker, and subscribers register subscriptions with it. The broker filters, stores, and forwards messages, thus routing them from publishers to subscribers. This approach is known as pub-sub pattern.

Since events are simply being listened to, if they do not occur no action is triggered. This improves JSLib scalability.
